Richard Phillips, AIF, ERPA, CPC, QPA, QKA
Chief Executive Officer
Richard holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Banking and Finance, and a minor in mathematics. Richard is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designee. As an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA), Richard has earned the privilege of practicing before the Internal Revenue Service. He is also a Certified Pension Consultant (CPC), Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), and Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and is a member of the American Retirement Association. Richard has contributed case studies for the American Law Institute-American Bar Association’s advanced pension program. He has also provided continuing education programs for CPA groups and has lectured on plan design techniques for medical groups at the RBMA Education Conference.
Richard formerly served as co-chair of the Retirement Plan Academy, the division of the American Retirement Association that provides education and training to more than 13,000 members. As co-chair he oversaw the development of training and educational programs for entry-level staff up to senior level consultants, as well as continuing education programs, webinars and publications.
Richard has served as a subject matter expert to the Retirement Plan Academy on coverage testing under IRS Code §410(b) and investments. Prior to becoming co-chair of the Retirement Plan Academy, he lead a team to revise and update the investment curriculum of the Certified Pension Consultant program. He also chaired the committee tasked with revamping the curriculum of the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) program, a high level training program for advisors working in the qualified plan arena.
Richard is a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Franklin, Tennessee and has served on the vestry where he chaired the finance committee and served as a member of the executive committee.
Richard lives with his family in historic Franklin, Tennessee.
Chandler Julian, CPA, AIF
President & Chief Financial Officer
Chandler earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting from Lipscomb University in Nashville. Chandler is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designee, and holds a Series 65 investment license as an Investment Adviser Representative (IAR) with ERISA Advisers, Inc.
Chandler directs of ERISA’s Consultants’ operational and strategic activities, which include market trading activities, retirement plan financial reporting, client experience, and internal control. Chandler also oversees the firm’s cloud platforms, client web portals, CRM systems, and corporate websites.
Chandler currently serves as a member of Charles Schwab’s Retirement Technolgoies Board, and he’s passionate about pushing the retirement plan industry forward.
Outside of work, Chandler enjoys listening to music and playing guitar. He lives with his family in Franklin, Tennesee.
Sr. Software Engineer
Dillon earned is bachelor’s degree from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. He serves as the firm’s primary software engineer and focuses on writing custom web applications. Dillon is considered a full-stack development expert and has worked on several high-profile projects, including application programming with the Defense Advanced Research Projets Agency (DARPA).
Outside of work, Dillon enjoys exercising, biking, and playing with his dog. Dillon lives in Nashville, TN.
Daniel earned his bachelor’s degree from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. He is responsible for supporting retirement plan participants and partners.
Outside of work, Daniel enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family. He is a native of Franklin, TN.
Hunter is responsible for supporting retirement plan participants, sponsors, and partners. He focuses on compliance testing and year-end reporting. Hunter holds his Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
Hunter and his family live in Nashville, TN.
Dakota graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and he earned his MBA from Lipscomb University in Nashville. He focuses on daily recordkeeping operations and supporting plan participants.
Outside of work, Dakota enjoys playing softball and lives in Franklin, TN.
Dinesh Reddy Kavalakuntla
Dinesh earned his Master’s degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Cincinnati and he focuses on front-end web interface development.
