About Richard

Richard is the founding principal of both ERISA Partners, Inc. and ERISA Advisers, Inc. He brings over 25 years’ experience to the effective design, consulting, and management of 401(k) plans.

Richard holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Banking and Finance, and a minor in mathematics. Richard is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary who adheres to a strict interpretation of a fiduciary. As an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) Richard has earned the privilege of practicing before the Internal Revenue Service. He is also a Certified Pension Consultant (CPC), Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), and Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and is a member of the American Retirement Association. Richard has contributed case studies for the American Law Institute-American Bar Association’s advanced pension program. He has also provided continuing education programs for CPA groups and has lectured on plan design techniques for medical groups at the RBMA Education Conference.

Richard currently serves as co-chair of the Retirement Plan Academy, the division of the American Retirement Association that provides education and training to more than 13,000 members. As co-chair he oversees the development of training and educational programs for entry-level staff up to senior level consultants, as well as continuing education programs, webinars and publications.

Richard has served as a subject matter expert to the Retirement Plan Academy on coverage testing under IRS Code §410(b) and investments. Prior to becoming co-chair of the Retirement Plan Academy, he lead a team to revise and update the investment curriculum of the Certified Pension Consultant program. He also chaired the committee tasked with revamping the curriculum of the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) program, a high level training program for advisors working in the qualified plan arena.

Richard is a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Franklin, Tennessee and has served on the vestry where he chaired the finance committee and served as a member of the executive committee.

Richard lives with his family in historic Franklin, Tennessee.

About Chandler

Chandler hails from the Atlanta suburb of Marietta, GA, but now resides in Nashville, TN.  He earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting from Lipscomb University in Nashville. Chandler is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designee and holds a Series 65 investment license as an Investment Adviser Representative (IAR) with ERISA Advisers, Inc.

Chandler also directs of ERISA Partners’ operational activities. These responsibilities include market trading activities, daily valuation accounting services, retirement plan financial reporting, database administration, operational procedures, and internal control design.  Chandler also oversees the technology infrastructure for both ERISA Partners and ERISA Advisers, which involves managing each companies’ cloud platforms, client web portals, CRM systems, and corporate websites.

Additionally, Chandler has worked extensively in the development of flexComp, a proprietary software solution.  As project manager, he develops the web application’s core mathematical and algorithmic formulas and directs the programming team’s  development work.

In 2017, Chandler was invited to serve as a member of Charles Schwab’s Retirement Technolgoies Board, which is dedicated to the advancement of retirement plan experiences for industry professionals, employers, investment advisors, and employees.  He is also a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) and both the National and Middle Tennessee Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

About Dillon

Dillon serves as the lead software engineer for ERISA Consultants’ proprietary flexComp technology.  He is responsible for every aspect of the project’s code and technology infrastructure.  His work on flexComp also includes converting algorithmic concepts into code that supports real-time predictive sequencing of retirement plan outcomes.  In addition to flexComp, Dillon also advises on corporate technology infrastructure for all entities held by ERISA Corporation.

Dillon earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN.  After completing college, he has worked in the software development field for a diverse array of industries and government agencies – including military, medical, non-profit, architectural, and financial organizations.

Dillon is a member of the IEEE Computer Society.  In his spare time, he enjoys biking, kayaking, and going to the gym.
